Three “Don’ts” in Life

Ponpes.net – First, do not be lazy! It is said that one of the diseases that there is no cure is a lazy disease. Many things that cause us to be hit by laziness. People with problems usually become lazy. Similarly people who do not have a target in life usually likes to laze around.

The person affected by his lazy disease will waste his time without doing anything as if the time is not worth it to him. Lazy people tend to overlay problems by procrastinating on them. That is why one of the prayers that the Prophet recommended for us to read is that we take refuge in God from feeling lazy.

Second, do not despair! Usually lazy people will tend to give up easily. Do not have spirit of fighting. He considers for what it means to fight anyway the result must be defeated as well. This is the one who has lost before playing.

Instead of organizing strategy in life, we tend to accept circumstances and no longer want to seek. You may be in debt, abandoned by lovers, given trials of illness, beaten by various slanders, but whatever it is as long as you do not despair, you can still rise again.

“… and do not despair of the grace of God. There is no despair of the mercy of Allah, but the heathen.” (Surah 12:87)

For those who like to accuse other people of disbelief just because of different opinions, read deh paragraph above: lest we also enter the category of infidels if we easily despair of God’s grace.

The desperate man does not seem to believe that God will not burden anyone beyond our means; not sure that even the reptiles of God give fortune; not confident that according to the promise of God behind the difficulty there must be ease.

Third, do not forget to be grateful! Those who are lazy and easily discouraged are usually rarely grateful. What would you be grateful for, lha wong our life is so threatening like this? So usually their excuses.

But my friend during the breath is still there and as long as the sun is still shining our lives it is worth to be grateful for. Look around us: how many other people are actually much more miserable than us.

Do not believe? Ask the confused scavengers to see us ngedumel because of the slow wifi connection; look at those who sleep in the sky and lit by the stars while we continue to grumble the PLN’s electric power; and listen to the little singing singers humming cheerfully knocking our car glass at a red light while we are stressful of losing the project.

Those who are good at being grateful means believing that God will add to the favors that exist – either at any time or in any way.

Those who remain grateful though tested with trials will be more optimistic looking at the future – all will be beautiful in time.

Those who are grateful will be more diligent in worship and work because their gratitude has exceeded their patience – no wonder God often praises them.

Those who never forget to be grateful are those who start the day with positive energy; not by lamenting the suffering, let alone nosy seeing the success of others.

Do not be lazy.
Do not give up.
Do not forget to be grateful.
